In accordance with the new decree, valid from 31\12\2021, the following measures have been introduced to contain the spread of COVID-19:

 

 

 

 

 

 

QUARANTINE:

 

Contact with a person who tested positive?

 

  1. For those who have the booster dose, are recovered from the COVID-19 or vaccinated with a second dose for less than 4 months quarantine is not necessary but only SELF-MONITORING is required.
  2. For those who is vaccinated with a second dose for more than 4 months a five-day quarantine with final negative swab is required.
  3. For those who are not vaccinated a 10-day quarantine with final negative swab is required.

 

 

Person tested positive but asymptomatic:

  1. For those who have been vaccinated for more than four months and for those who have not been vaccinated a 10-day quarantine with final negative swab is required.
  2. For those who have been vaccinated for less than 4 months a 7-day quarantine with final negative swab is required.

 

Person tested positive and symptomatic:

 

For all (vaccinated and unvaccinated) a 10-day quarantine with final negative swab is required.

 

 

GREEN PASS:

 

  1. BASIC GREEN PASS: it can be obtained with vaccination, recovery from COVID-19 or with a rapid and molecular test.
  2. STRENGTHENED GREEN PASS (Super Green Pass): it can be obtained only with vaccination or recovery from COVID-19.
  3. GREEN PASS BOOSTER: it can be obtained only with the third dose of vaccine.

 

From 01\02\2022 the duration of the Green Pass will be reduced from 9 months to 6 months

 

OTHER PREVENTIVE MEASURES:

 

  1. From 10\01\ 2022 THE STRENGTHENED GREEN PASS will be required for most activities such as: restaurants both indoors and outdoors, local public transport and long-distance travel, swimming pools, gyms, museums etc.
  2. From 30\12\2021 it is mandatory to have THE STRENGTHENED GREEN PASS plus a negative Covid test to access hotels and other hospitality facilities
  3. Consumption inside all the food catering services (such as restaurants, bars etc) is permitted only with the STRENGTHENED GREEN PASS and it is forbidden to consume food and drinks in the street.
  4. It is mandatory to wear surgical masks or analogous devices outside, but it is mandatory to wear FFP2 on public transportation, at cinema, theaters, concert halls and other similar venues.
  5. Nightclubs, disco and similar entertainment venues are closed until 31st of January as well as outdoor events such as concerts and parties.
